Ava is growing up soooo fast!

I cannot believe how fast my little love bug is growing up. In this 5 month life span, she has been rolling to every single corner of the house (screams when she hits a wall), she sits up, plays with her toys and presses buttons, and now has completed her mission to eating solids (2oz a meal).

Ava has been amazing and she surprises us everyday. There are times when we come home from work ad we are so exhausted but her smile just brightened up the night. I'm back to working 50/60 hours now, so seeing Ava is now super precious. It is extremely hard, waking up early and making the best of the time together. Yeah, I sometimes cry thinking is she gonna forget me, but guess that's what life is as a CEO (ha! I never thought I'd call myself that, but sure proud of it.) so now our 3 hours in the morning together consists of: eating, singing, playing, and cuddling. She sits next to me while I get ready and we laugh together while I sing obnoxious songs. I love these moments. Now evenings are the saddest. I get home now around 8-830pm and that's her bedtime. Paul usually goes home first and gets her fed, bathed, and dressed. By the time I walk in the door, they both are sitting on the couch together waiting for my kids good night. I have the bed husband! Ava you have the best dad! Never met a man so selfless and so giving. Ava, if you asked, I'm sure daddy will do. He loves you so much. He even said he loved you more than me! Lol

So this amazing journey with you had been such a joy to us. I enjoy every bit of drool, giggles, and cuddles. I love making your food: it has definitely helped my confidence in cooking and hopefully one day mommy will be an amazing chef like your daddy. Today for now, ill be your best playtime buddy .

I love you all the way to the moon and back. Xoxo mommy

Training 101-A diva must always know how to shop.

Starting early with her own MacPro

looking at the new spring line 2013

BIG 5 months!

What a huge drastic change a month can do!
Baby Ava is now 5 months, and we are so over the moon with all her new discoveries.

Ava loves to talk, yap, kick, roll, scream, yelp, giggle, drool, throw up, laugh,
and rests her head on your shoulder.  Her personality is definitely showing.  She loves music, peek a boos and she's ticklish now!  so adorable!

Of course, life wouldn't be complete if a girl doesn't have her proper fashionable attire.  Dressing up Ava now has been so exciting and fun.  We got to wear her first jeggings, and cardigan and she's just so posh.  I love my baby girl!

Our next adventure is PUREEING and SOLIDS:
I love my cuisinart baby!!  It is so easy and makes me feel at ease, that Ava's eating healthy.  We started off with organic sweet potato.  At the nanny's, Ava tries the "earth's best organic baby food."  She enjoys prunes, oatmeal, and sweet potato.  I made chao (congee) the other day, and she didn't seem to like it, but maybe it will take some time.

Ava's sitting like a big girl now in her high chair.  We decided to go for the STOKKE trapp chair, because of the style, but also how it transitions into a chair as she gets older.  Plus, way easy to clean and space efficient!!

Ava on her stokke chair with sweet potato.

Our time together gets more exciting each day.   I adore her and cherish every single moment with her.  Ava, when you read this, you light up my world.  You have completed and made me such a proud mommy.  I love you all the way to the moon and back.  Forever you will be mine.  Mommy loves you.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Last Lunar new year, I found out I was pregnant with the most beautiful little girl ever.  Who would have known she would steal our hearts and change our lives forever.

I couldn't have asked for anything better and our lives are more complete than ever!  This year, we exchanged li xi with her friends and got to celebrate a fun moment.  We are so thankful for our friends and keeping traditions.  Touches my heart.

I apologize I have been so behind on my posts!  With facebook, instagram, google+ and now blog, I can't seem to keep up like I did before.

wishing you all a happy snake new year!  may the new year be filled with lots of luck, good health, wealth, and prosperity.

Four months down...and oh a lifetime to go!

Baby Ava is 4 months!

I would probably say that by the 4th month, us moms (well for me at least) are finally somewhat normal, alive, and back on track.  Babies are sleeping through the night (hopefully,) and then we start feeling like ourselves, going out, and having fun.  Well for me that's the case.  HELLO NORMAL!

It's amazing how so much can happen in 4 months and when you look back you think "what was my life before this child?"  Sure I miss the leisure and travels, but it is definitely a sweetness to seeing that face in the morning.

Ava is a happy baby.  I think she can sense people who are sincere or people who are plain evil (haha if you read this and you're my friend and Ava cries, you are not evil.)  She's starting to develop a charming personality.  Ava definitely knows how to bat those eyes and sucker all her uncles and daddy to just go "ooooo" for her.  Quite cute.  She's starting to roll over, talks, drool, eat rice cereal (day 2 to be exact,) and is sitting up comfortably on her Bumbo.  Oh, and when she sleeps, NO MORE SWADDLING!  The day that it actually happened, the next day at work, I teared because she slept like us now, not a baby.

Ava's wardrobe is getting quite exciting.  It's been bloody cold here this season, so all the cute dresses are at a halt, but when the sun shines, bows and dresses and shoes will all be out.  When I first found out I was prego, I really thought it would be a boy.  Easy, simple and having a girl was a bit intimidating to me. Yes, I'm a super girly girl, but I just didn't know how I'd do with a baby.  Now that I have her, I cannot stop shopping and dressing her up.  Even a tiny drool on her shirt...WARDROBE CHANGE!  hahaha.

WIth that said...Ava's closet is full of tutus, flowers,  bows, leggings, and PINK!  More to come on the diva herself....

xoxo

Happy new year!!

It's 2013!! Time has flown by. Exactly a year ago, we found out I was pregnant with Ava. Life has definitely changed.

I don't know what I'd do without her. She's been the joy and smile of my day. The laughter of my life and the apple of my eye. Ava turned 3 months on New Year's Day. We didn't do anything crazy. Spent the new year eve at home with princess and ordered carry out and had a bottle of champagne. Then, we were in bed about 1230ish. Ava was awake for the new year. She was ready!

Many things has happened. Ava can hold her head up, tummy time is longer, she can wiggle in a circle on the play mat and coos and aaahs so much!! Love her talks, giggles and laughters.

This month she experienced her first cold and ear infection. Honestly, she had her fussy periods but it wasn't horrible. She is such a good baby! Very calm and peaceful attitude. I like!!

Many photos to share so I will post away!
Wishing you all a happy and prosperous new year! Lots of love and joy!
Xoxo
