My sister in law, Nancy, has been educating me on deals and buys for baby products. Today she texted me that diapers were on sale. I've never bought diapers before so I couldn't tell you what's a great deal, but when she says it is...I believe her.
So I told Paul about it, and he was like let's go check it out and see. We went to Target and started to educate ourselves with all the baby things out there. So much fun! We could not stop giggling. We know it's soooooooo early but it was definitely exciting to shop and see what's on sale.
Paul was so excited and had so much fun. He def bought a few boxes and wipes. His theory...there's tons of babies, someone is bound to use it!
Baby peanut... Daddy is getting everything ready for your arrival. He can't wait to change your diaper!!
It's all started with pink....and then it got BIG! I couldn't imagine my life without my precious baby girl. This is our life together. Letters, thoughts, and stories of how it all began with Ava. Enjoy! xoxo

Happy Friday!
Still really early in the first trimester, but I can't help but smile.
I had the first "mommy" dream last night. Prepare to laugh. I was in a crowded place with my 3 kids, yes 3! We were all standing there and people would come up and ask me who were my kids on stage. I pointed and proudly said, "That's my daughter, and those 2 are my handsome boys." They complimented saying how beautiful they were, and I just smiled big. I woke up with a big cheese! haha
Yes, Paul...2 boys and a girl! Lol. I can't wait to start our little family. Still a bit surreal for us both. We knew one day this would happen, and we're so excited to start this new adventure.
Today I got two surprises from my sister in laws. Double bonus!
Thank you so much to Linda & Michelle for the gifts.
Linda's must have when prego kit! love!
Michelle and Layla: Our know how to be mommy & daddy stuff and meditation! I loooove meditation and relaxation and baby's first baby journal. Of course a photo of our Godbaby.

Baby Dragon: are you gonna be a girl or boy?
Our baby peanut is gonna be a dragon!
I've heard such great things about the year of the dragon and how it's a great year to have a baby! Definitely feeling blessed. In the family, a few cousins (on Paul's side) will also have babies. This will be exciting. So far, we know one has a boy and I'm wondering what mine will be?
Paul's family has 4 sisters. He's the only boy. His sisters had girls, but his younger had a boy. (4 nieces and 1 nephew)
My side, I have 3 brothers and my one brother has 3 girls. (3 nieces)
This is gonna be interesting what pops out!
According to this Chinese gender chart, it'll be a boy! Is it gonna be correct?? =)
Truly excited. I know it's still early. Family has been so excited and everything feels just right. Mom, I know you're looking down and smiling and I thank you!
New surprise. A dear close friend of ours gifted us this adorable pregnant bear! It even has a belly! So cute!
Thanks Mama Rita Sue

"you're pregnant 3 times"
Four months ago, I started this blog in hopes of God miraculously making it possible that the first time trying, I'd be pregnant. Yeah...that didn't work. Wishful thinking haha!
Though...after those four months, our baby dragon has arrived! It started last Thursday, when I woke up at 4am wide awake and full of energy. Those who know me, I LOVE SLEEP! Then Friday came around, and again wide awake at 4am. Paul became suspicious and so did I. We worked Saturday and after work, drove to Target. I have to say, those 4 am mornings, I googled everything possible and reasons why and what not. I grabbed the pregnancy tests, and headed home.
Saturday night, took it, and a faint line. I definitely took a third and fourth glance. I called for Paul and asked, "Babe, is that a line I see??" Paul smiles, as always, and responds "Yup. You"re pregnant alright." We both smiled, giggled, and were happy!
Sunday morning, I woke up. I kept thinking this was a dream. I tried it again. This time more visible. YUP!! I'm gonna be a mommy. Monday, before calling the doctor, yup! confirmed! Then the doctor confirmed. 8 week check up Feb 8th =)
You don't know how much this means. For the longest time, these past few years, I've wondered what was the next path I was suppose to take. Those who know me, I've struggled a lot without my mom. I do believe that this was a sign from her and God. This was my path to happiness and a new chapter. This baby is hope, or as my cousin Mary says "maybe it's Hop (my mom.)" I can't wait for my little peanut to arrive. My heart is filled with joy and I can't wait to love my baby peanut to pieces.
Baby peanut, mommy and daddy will see you in less than 9 months. We love you already.
