22 weeks and going!

Weekend with the girls
21 weeks and tomorrow I get my doctor check up. Baby is kicking and moving. Craving this weekend is string cheese! Thanks to my nieces they got me hooked!
Layla, Serena, and Michelle came into town to visit. Ava got tons of goodies!
Auntie Linda gifted a baby classical music. Auntie Michelle brought clothes for Ava and Layla tested out all my baby purchases and things were great!
We went downtown Cincinnati and ate at the Asian fest that my friends hosted. We roamed around the banks and enjoyed the river view. Making memories, Uncle Paul and the girls ran through the fountain. Everyone was wet. Lol
Baby Ava def enjoyed this weekend. Ended it with a trip to the zoo. Got my cardio in and I feel great. We were extremely tired when we got home, but Layla made it worth it. She makes me super excited to have Ava. She dressed up and tried on outfits for me. She tested my stroller and the crib. She gave me practice on getting ready and she let me cuddle.
Uncle Paul is sooo goo goo for her. She def stole his heart this weekend. I can't wait for Ava to come. He's gonna be so in love!!

Spaghetti Squash-
This week, we got many surprises. Work has been extremely busy, but it's good! Hopefully soon I'll cut down soon and I can enjoy my nesting time with you. Sassy was nominated as a finalist for best of NKY so today, mommy has a lot to do to set up for the function. I heard there's gonna be food!! So, you'll def enjoy =)
We got an early gift from Uncle Ted. He got you a Bjorn carrier, well actually for daddy, but we can't wait to use it! Daddy started to put it together and in place, and I hope it is properly put together right. We'll see =)
Other than that....I'm just waiting for our babymoon to come! We're going to Hawaii~ I fell in love with it last year when I went with my friends. Now, I wanna take Daddy to see it and then next year we shall take you for Uncle Tux and Auntie Sav's wedding. I cannot wait.
I have loved and enjoyed every minute of this pregnancy. It has been nothing but joy! Can't wait to hold you Ava. See you in about a week at the doctor's. Mommy loves you bunches!

Happy mother's day!!
Happy mother's day to all my mommies and mommies to be!
Today has been a great and fun day. Got to celebrate the day with my family. Also a Sunday ritual, we go to mass, visit our relatives at the cemetery , and then eat! I grew up every Sunday doing this.
So this year, the extra special side is I got mother's day day. Pretty awesome. After our dim sum brunch, I took the whole family to Buy buy baby and showed them my registry. Now I have only men in my family and I have to say it was cute to see them all into the baby stuff. My Auntie Phi and Uncle Duc, who are also my godparents, spent the day with me. Along with our good friend Ted.
The guys, of course, had a blast at the car seat stroller department. Everyone was picking what "they would like" def cute. My brother Dom had a blast finding baby carriers. We showed them all the gadgets we liked and all the big things we registered for. My dad was smiling and got so into the stuff. It was def a fun and exciting day.
After that, we all went to look at te swagger wagon. Gosh forbid I'm still fighting but it took the whole family to try to convince me that it is best for me. My dad def enjoyed it because he was looking for a car himself haha.
Needless to say, it was a fun filled day. I love my family so much and my brothers have all made it awesome.
Thank you to my dad and brothers for taking me out and big hugs to my godparents for spoiling me and a huge thanks to our friend, Ted. We will miss ya, but will see ya in Cali soon! And to my baby brother Jeff-- thank you for my first mom's day gift. Love you all!!

Half way there!!
20 weeks 20 weeks!
I've finally made it to the half way point. Very happy and we celebrated with ice cream. This week is mother's day week, and what great way to celebrate my half way point with a little happy mommy to be day!
This week my cousins, Mary and Tommy, received their packages. They both are Ava's Godparents and We couldn't be happier. Both Mary and Tommy have been such an inspiration and role model to my life. They helped me through everything and always guided me on the right path to success and who could I imagine more than these two to fashion up my diva!
Mary is from Chicago. Tommy is from Washington DC. Both places where I have been/lived and I love. I hope Ava gets to travel with them everywhere like how I got to travel with them. I'm so excited and can't wait for them to hold baby girl when she arrives. I have shared my whole life with them and I can't wait for Ava to experience and share and live her life with them. Love you both so much!!
So far, pregnancy has been good! Ava is starting to flutter a lot more. Paul felt her first vibration this week. No weight gained, just the belly growing. Still in my normal clothes, nothing maternity yet. Still in my heels...and definite still loving fruit!

My baby forever I love you always
It's May! My has time flown. I'm 19 weeks and still going strong. This month is full of so much activities. I hope I can catch up. Sleep sounds so good!
Baby, you've been fluttering a lot, especially around 730pm. I think that's a sign from you to tell me to go home from work! Haha. Lately our favorite munchie is smoothies. Wild berry, strawberry, bananas, and all kind of berries.. Yum! You've also told me you hate dishes. When I stand to wash, I gagged haha so daddy has been a trooper and took over the kitchen. Smart girl you are haha.
Mommy has been tempted to buy you so much stuff, but I will wait till you're here. Your crib came a few weeks ago, and parts of your bedding arrived. Daddy has a lot of projects to start on with your nursery. He's pretty excited. We hope you love it!
Other than that, I finished your registry I think. Your aunties have been working on your shower and I can't wait for July to come. I have to say this is one of my happiest moments ever. I can't imagine how things will be when you come. I can't wait to hold you in my arms and love you forever. Thank you for being a part of me and letting me love you to pieces. It's def a dream come true to have a baby girl as sweet as you.
